Reverend Herepo Harawira

This photo showing a man formally dressed outside. The Reverend Herepo Ruawhe Harawira born 1899 died 1978.

He was a Church of England minister in Whangarei and received the OBE for services to the Maori people.

He was also known as Jerry Hadfield and was written about by author Florence Keene in a book titled "Rangatira from Aupori published in 1974.
